I spent little time in Sendai, only a couple of hours before going to tohoku university to attend some conference related events. The city is very different than Tokyo and I started to notice the cultural polarization of the Japanese people. I will go on a little tangent thyat I hope is worth your time.
Just like New-York is not America or Toronto is not Canada, Tokyo is not Japan. Tokyo is an amaizing international city, vibrant and exciting, but not representative for Japan. still need to validate the theory in the following days.
